hi Ria! mommy Jazz is asking where we can buy rubber foam material locally--would you have any idea? Is this the one you used for your foam stamps? where did you get it? I've seen them in the U.S. but haven't encountered any locally.
Thanks!

Hi Nenette,
I bought some sheets of self-adhesive craft foam at Toddlers Unlimited Preschool. I used them two ways: (1) to make my own stamps by cutting or punching (die-cutting also would work) shapes and mounting them on a substrate (for small shapes, adhere them to the lid of an empty film cannister); (2) to make dimensional embellishments by heating the foam with a heat tool and stamping onto it.
Hugs,

| If you can buy cork sheets, you can use them to make stamps, whether by using die cut machines, or just drawing and cutting them yourself. You can use a double sided tape or glue to adhere it to any plastic (a blank cd case would work) or wood. Or if your design is not that big, you can just use a pin when you ink it. Your design won't be smooth/flat, but it will have some dimension when you stamp it. Hope this helps! |
