Though we may not realize it we all have an artistic side to us that needs only to be awakened, recognized, developed and put into use. Scrap booking is an easy home-based hobby that enables the artist within us to express ourselves. From each picture taken, the various lay-out styles, the detailed embellishments, and the written journals we add into our pages, we are able to make unique works of art we can call our own. We find inspiration in our personal experiences and the many beautiful things that surround us. With every careful creation, comes a sense of satisfaction. It all began when a few of my friends and I would gather to scrap together. At first we would take turns hosting the meetings in our individual houses but eventually, my attic became our preferred scrapping venue. It is in this special place that we were able to consult with each other and share our techniques, tools and materials. These social gatherings gave us the opportunity to get better acquainted with one another. Having this common interest we drew from each other fresh ideas and the inspiration to create new and exciting pages. Occasionally, we would still hold such social meetings at my attic and this brought about the opportunity to introduce and present imported scrap booking materials to my friends. What began as a hobby has evolved into a business. I warmly welcome each of you into my little attic and hope to provide a treasury and assortment of uniquely attractive papers, embellishments and materials.
